After a nice walk a few Saturdays back we stopped in to rehydrate. Lots of staff standing around but had to ask for someone to take our order.
Happy to report the service improved 100% once they figured out who our waitress was. Very attentive and gave us a good tip on an appetizer to go with our drinks.
Bloody Mary's for us both, they were decent, not as good as home but ok. I decided to switch to beer.
All in all, will absolutely return next time on the KT -

Place is so understaffed, you will not get a drink for 45 minutes on the weekend. Bartenders haven't smiled or shown customer service since the 90's. So unprofessional it hurts my face...
Btw, the "Summer Beer" here is trash... Like drinking toilet water with a orange on the rim... bring your barf bags... -

This place has a pretty great set up for both outside and inside seating. We got stuck in some cold rain so it was nice to enjoy our meal by the fire.
My wife and I shared the nachos plus a burger and fries. Both were great but we were quickly defeated because of the ample serving size. My only knock was that the food was a little greasy and made us a little queasy but that's the risk you have to take sometimes. -

Great spot for different groups and outings. Food is decent but a bit greasy. Drinks are on the higher side but I guess pretty decent for downtown Dallas. Always lots of dogs here. Great indoor and outdoor space. Plenty of seating for large or small groups. Right off the Katy trails and a great place to grab a beer after a walk or run.

Great place to have lunch out doors on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Great people watching spot. We took a walk up the Katy Trail from downtown and stopped in for a bite and a beer.
The staff were very pleasant and attentive enough for a busy location. The food was okay. I ordered the loaded cheese fries which had entirely to much cheese on them. My nephew and son had the the patty melt which they said was tasty but were piled with pickles and a lot of mustard which they had to scrape off (who does that) to a patty melt).
We will come back just to people watch and to have a beer.
